Characters from Nickelodeon’s LoudHouse

So Chris Savino, the creator of the cartoon the Loud House and sexual abuser, says he’s found Jesus and that he would like to make a comeback.

As a woman, I have one thing to say to this: no.

Chris, I’m happy that you’ve seen the light and that religion is helping you. That’s great. That doesn’t change what you did to your female co-workers. The women working under you did not deserve to be sexually harassed by you. No one deserves sexual harassment, no matter what their gender. Either you didn’t know this, or you decided not to use common sense. You’re an adult man. You knew what you were doing was wrong and invasive. You harassed women with sexual texts, sent them pictures of your penis, and more.

God says to it’s important to forgive. That’s great, and all but there are some things you can’t forgive. The women you hurt? They’re under no obligation to forgive you. The people in the animation industry also don’t have to accept you back.

Sexually abusing people is not a mistake; it’s a choice. Chris, you made your choice. Numerous times, you decided it was okay to make the women working with you uncomfortable. Do you have any idea what you’ve done to them?

So no, Chris, you do not deserve a second chance. You ruined your reputation on your own, and you have to deal with the consequences now. You lost your show, lost your wife and no one wants to work with you. You made your bed, lie in it.

Signed, a woman who is tired of abusers trying to get people to feel sorry for them.
